Challenge

QuantumDiamonds is a fast-growing, highly innovative company developing advanced measurement instruments for modern semiconductor testing using quantum sensor technology. As the company scaled, its organically grown IT infrastructure—lacking standardization and robust security—became a bottleneck. To support its growth and protect sensitive R&D data, the company needed a secure, scalable, and future-ready IT environment.

Objectives

Our joint goal was to transform the existing infrastructure into a secure, modern IT landscape with:

  • Security by Design

  • Cloud-first architecture

  • Scalability & automation

  • Zero Trust principles

Our Approach

Working closely with the internal IT team, we followed a structured and transparent project approach:

  1. Assessment of the existing infrastructure and vulnerabilities

  2. Definition of a target architecture and security requirements

  3. Prioritization of initiatives based on business impact and efficiency

  4. Collaborative execution with regular knowledge transfer and alignment

The Solution

To build a secure and scalable IT environment, we implemented:

  • Endpoint Security with CrowdStrike and centralized device management via Microsoft Intune

  • Identity Protection using MFA, role-based access, and user awareness training

  • Network Segmentation with UniFi infrastructure and secure remote access

  • Cloud Transformation by migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, including full device integration

These measures laid the foundation for a Zero Trust architecture and enabled secure, efficient collaboration across locations and platforms.

Results

  • Unified and scalable IT security architecture

  • Comprehensive protection on endpoint, network, and cloud levels

  • Secure and seamless work environment for both internal and remote users

  • Fully managed devices across all operating systems

  • Future-ready infrastructure to support business growth and compliance

The project was carried out in close collaboration with the customer’s IT team, with regular feedback loops, transparent communication, and coordinated rollouts ensuring strong user acceptance. As a result, QuantumDiamonds now operates on a holistic, secure, and scalable IT foundation—powered by Microsoft 365, centralized device management, CrowdStrike endpoint protection, and network security with UniFi and Zscaler—enabling secure, agile, and efficient operations.
